Hi Toni
I added 3 blank copies of the Template to this page for you. What I would suggest you do is just delete the Megans off the page. You have already moved them. Altho it doesn't hurt to just double check.
Now the bottom copy of the template is your master copy, do not use. If you want to work on more than 1 species at a time then just make as many copies of the template as you want on this page. Keep in mind that 5 is about the max that can be worked on on 1 wiki page at one time. At the start of each Template is the title Template. Change this to the name of the species that you will be working on. Do this for all the extra templates but not the last or bottom one.
Also don't worry that the Memory Alpha Content box seems to have pushed the smaller photo template box out of position. The Memory Alpha is the bottom of the section or page and the Photo section is the top of the next section or page. Once you have cut and moved it to it's final destination both will be in their correct position. It is only because you have multiple copies of the template stacked one on top of another.
I hope this helps. Keep up the good work. I know that as you work on them you will find some to be very easy and others that just seem to be as difficult as pulling teeth.

History
During the 13th century, the Megans traveled to Earth where they assisted Humans with the art of magic, and were eventually responsible for the ancient legends of witches and warlocks.
By the 17th century, the Megans settled in Salem, Massachusetts, after realizing that Humans only wished to use them to serve greed and lust. They chose to live their lives there as "normal men" to avoid the accusations of being "devils, warlocks and evil sorcerers." Unfortunately, while living in Salem, several of the Megans made mistakes and used their powers, and were burned for doing so, as witches during the Salem witch trials.
Those Megans who escaped the witch trials were forced to leave Earth and return to their homeworld, where they remained bitter and fearful of Humans.
In 2269, the USS Enterprise made contact with the Megans. They accused Kirk and his crew of bringing evil to their planet, but due to their distrust of Humans, they put the Enterprise crew in a recreation of a Salem witch trial. Kirk finally proved his innocence by showing that the evil one was Lucien. The one who brought them to the planet.
Government
Lucien explained that Megas-Tu was not governed by the same laws as their own universe and that magic thrived among Megans. By holding trials similar to those in Salem, Earth, would seem they have a Judicial form of government in place.
While the Megans did not reveal much regarding how they govern themselves, the trial that the crew of the USS Enterprise were subjected to was straight out of the history books. Based on that and various other comments it seems that their exposure to Earth had a profound and long lasting effect on them as a species.

Description
The Megans were an ageless species from the planet Megas-Tu that specialized in the ethics of magic and wizardry, therefore they can take any form they wish. The Megan that appeared on the bridge of Enterprise was a red-skinned humanoid with small horns on his head. Others appeared later as hooded beings.
Physiology
Humanoid in form, but can assume any form due to their magical abilities. Based on information they revealed it is logical to assume that they are either Immortal or at least gifted with extremely long lives.
Psychology
Megans are distrustful of Humans, and left Earth to go back to their homeworld due to the Salem trials that sent several of them to their deaths. The Megans were alone in their universe; there were no other lifeforms.
Religion
The Megans were an ageless species from the planet Megas-Tu that specialized in the ethics of magic and wizardry. During the 13th century, the Megans traveled to Earth where they assisted Humans with the art of magic, and were eventually responsible for the ancient legends of witches and warlocks.
Mythology
For years scientists have theorized that if our galaxy was created from a great explosion, then the center of the galaxy might still be creating new matter. The Enterprise was sent on a scientific mission to find the creation point, an area in the galactic core where matter was being created. I think this should be moved to history. and replaced with something like the statement below.
Not much was revealed regarding the possability that the Megans have some form of mythology of their own. However based on the data gathered by the crew of the USS Enterprise it is logical to assume that the Megans had a hand in the creation of numerous myths on countless worlds and in many forms. Their casual use of magic could easily account for the stories of dragons, unicorns, angels and demons.
Society
The Magans never really allowed the crew of the USS Entiprise to explore their world. As a result this is based on what little they did see. Spock believes that what the crew was allowed to see was merely an illusion that would allow them to feel comfortable, less freightened of the Megans.
All the reports submitted by the crew and the ships sensor logs all seem to indicate that the city was a large community with structures and facilities very much like Earth in the 17th century.
Culture
With them being Immortal they have had eons to practice every art form imagined. Now they have grown bored with most of it. They still create amazing works of art but they seldom last for long.
Customs
Magic Potions are commonplace among Megan. Example: A love philtre is a magic potion used by the Megans to attract lovers. Since all the women of Megas-Tu are as young and beautiful as they want to be, they need an edge to ensnare the man they desire.
Technology
Megan technology is limited only by the humanoid technology they encounter. Lucien was able to restore the Enterprise computers and systems when they failed, rendering the crew consciousness due to the lack of oxygen. (Not sure that is the correct word)
Lucien explained that Megas-Tu was not governed by the same laws as their own universe and that magic thrived among Megans. As a result they did not need technology and while they could understand and replicate it when ever they needed it, they could achieve anything they desired far more easily by the use of magic.
Economy
No need for trade as they can create what ever they need, when ever they need.
Military
No known military.
Federation Intelligence Files
