The military itself seems to be almost unique compared to EVERY SINGLE military in the entire galaxy and canon series of Star Trek. The military of House Fanel and the Gaian system are built solely for the realistic purpose of war and defense. Forget about the so called techno advantages of Starfleet, or the militaristic aggressive Romulans or even the warrior like Klingons and the suicidial like Jem'hadars. Nothing can compare to a fully armed, fully prepared, and fully trained military designed on the purpose of what a real military is. Troops are armed with a extremely wide range of weapons, full body armor, and training in every kind of known situations. Supported with armor divisions and air support like fighters, fast troop transports and military style transporters to put many boots on the ground stragetic along with supplies. A standard trooper, or Marine is armed with a primary weapon like a rapid firing Assault rifle, usually with a sidearm, grenades, military style tricorders, combat knives, personal transporters for themselves. Special Operations Forces can be seen armed with devices like personal cloaks simiiar to Jem'hadar cloaks.

The Federation has always been seen with a grossly underpower, underarmed military say for the extremely rare special operations forces. Weapons used in the Gaian and House Fanel imperial military, and the high guard vary from handguns that are designed to work like handguns over the designs like type II hand phasers which are an nightmare to use at times and to aim. Submachine-carbine like weapons for rapid fire at close range to medium range, rapid fire capable assault rifles for medium to long range, sniper rifles for extreme ranges, and even support sustained firing weapons like machine guns, photon grenade launchers, and shoulder mounted weapons. Troops are equiped with body armor from head to toe, heavy boots, padding protects shins, shoulders, arms, chest, and helmets with HUD over an eye and in the event of biological attacks or chemical attacks, troops can quickly switch over to specilized suits with the same armor concept as the body armor of your average trooper except to completely cover the body from biological and chemical attacks. Most of the energy weapons in use have the "kill and stun" setting, but unlike Federation phasers, Fanel phasers have a singular setting. When it is set to kill, it literally burns when impact anything instead of the typically seen without pain kind of kill setting with Federation phaser technology which can be a disadvantage with species like Klingons who are stronger physcially than humans and are reportely can handle a higher stun setting and even kill settings.
