	V'Las was born to parents Jorek (father) & T'Rith (mother) aboard the VSS T'Mir where they both served in official capacity as a Scientist and Engineer respectively. Her older brother Jott (26) also serves aboard the VSS T'Mir as an Engineer working alongside his mother. Feeling she could not perform in the sciences the way her family did, V'Las decided to make her own path by joining Starfleet and using her skill for data compilation and her love of ships to become a Helm & Operations Officer.
