Just ahead of the team being taken prisoner by the natives, the Meirashi. Being held captive triggers a breakdown in their discipline, resulting in numerous unprofessional actions and statements. At an audience with the local leaders, while Captain MacKenzie is trying to negotiate their freedom, about Imril further disgraces themself by bantering with their crewmates and asking for a scan of the head wound they received during the capture. It is discovered that this is not the first alien incursion on the planet; Grand Riche Maprash might be suffering from radiation sickness as a long-term effect of that first situation. The team are released by Riche Leilossh (but not happily) to continue their efforts to remove the ship from his world, while he works to prevent the rest of his people from ever knowing it was there. Back at the crash site and amid familiar tasks, Imril shows a better head on their shoulders. | ||
