|BLURB=Nilsen met Nera in the aftermath of the Echo Squad crash. Nilsen and Nera were at the Allegretion, a bar in the Bayside area of San Francisco. Nilsen was attacked and beaten up by a number of assailants, and Nera treated his wounds. The two soon learned that they were both at the academy. While Nilsen was cold towards Nera at first, with a warning not to mention what he was doing there, he soon warmed up to Nera. Nera gave Nilsen tutoring in biology to help him pass the required module. In return, Nilsen was able to repair a rare Bajoran picture frame with parts that were hard to come by. Their friendship grew from there, and they had a friends-with-benefits situation. When they graduated, they lost touch with each other, but overall, they had a very positive relationship. | |||
