-Savel is a real Vulcan's Vulcan, whether that's good or bad is up for debate. He's done his best to learn how to control his emotions and convey that stoic demeanor that Vulcans pride themselves on. If they didn't suppress their pride, that is. It's done him well up to this point in his life but now that he is serving on a starship, the lack of social skills is catching up to him. On more than one occasion his lack of tact and consideration for others' feelings has led to uncomfortable situations with other crew members.  Savel has several personal interests that keep him occupied whenever he is not working, though he rarely shares these activities with others. He has an affinity for music and spends a fair amount of his spare time practicing the Vulcan lute. He can also be found frequently in the fitness center practicing Suus Mahna or in one of the ship's holodecks indulging in ornithology, which is a recent hobby that Savel has started to explore.
