|''One had a kennel run with large beasts about as tall as T’Ama’s waist at the withers. They had absurdly long faces and long powerful tails with long bio-luminescent fringe hanging off them that glowed and changed colors, like their tail was covered in fiber optics. They were mostly white with grey to black markings, but the tails would change from blue, green, and pink like an aurora. Some were curled up in little shelters, some on top and covered in a dusting of snow. Others knuckled around their enclosure sticking their long noses into the deep snow, and smaller ones - juveniles? - would tackle each other with gusto and roll around wrestling. T’Ama trudged along, feet crunching in the snow, past the kennel run and she wondered if these were the gruruts. Some of them jumped on the fence and curiously tried to stick their long noses through the holes at her, equally long blue tongues trying to lick her.<br>
