My approach to roleplaying here are to focus exploring characters as complex and diverse people first, and exploring their job / duty post second. I often take a lot of inspiration from IRL sources (myself / my own experiences, people I know, or even the face claims of the characters) and generally try to imagine I'm writing a ''real'' Trek show for ''real'' actors to play in. I'm also interested in using roleplay as a way to gain additional perspective on diverse identities and character traits as well as developing and 'grounding' world and species development.
