He met the ship's First Officer, Genkos Adea, while the Betazoid XO was restrained on a biobed following an attack on the ship's Chief Tactical Officer, Vitor Silveria. After an incredibly quick briefing on the current state of affairs, he was introduced to two other department chiefs before his first away mission. Savel met with Lt. Gabriel Osuna, Chief Security Officer, and Lt. Talos Dakora, the ship's Chief Intelligence Officer, along with Ensign Flint Kader, just prior to beaming down to the surface of the Da'al homeworld to recover a shuttlecraft and two missing security ensigns. Their mission was ultimately a success, thanks to the actions of Lt. Hallia Yellir's team, comprised of Ensigns Hiro Jones, Jovenan, and Luxa Lorana, that were able to pacify all of the planet's inhabitants, which allowed for the safe departure of the recovered shuttle and security officers. | ||
