''We all like what we like. As a roleplayer, and as a writer in general, I've always enjoyed and preferred telling the stories of characters that have already led full and varied lives, and not for the reason people may think. There is this idea that once you reach a certain point in your life, that you have amassed enough wisdom to see beyond trivial things, to be free of bad habits and strange rituals and mentalities. But for a lot of people, that simply isn't true at all. These are the characters I love to write — those whose lives continue to stir even well into their fifties, sixties and beyond.'' </span>
