Ray was born on Earth in the southern region of what was once known as the United States of America. He had a pretty standard childhood, going to school, playing with friends, and helping his parents at their flower shop which they still run to this day. As a child, he never really understood why his parents did what they did. He would often ask, “Why don’t you just replicate flowers?” To which they would reply, “Because people need something real in this artificial world. Plus, they smell better.” That would always make him smile. | |||
Ray grew up hearing stories about his great uncle who was in Star Fleet and always admired him even though he passed nearly twenty years before Ray was born. Inspired by his uncle he set his sights at a young age of joining Star Fleet and traveling among the stars. | |||
