Taldai: Difference between revisions

Born on Calindra III, a Xindi colony in a region of space once known as the Delphic Expanse, Taldai may appear to be unusually tall for a female, but she is in fact of average height for a female of her species, who tower over the males. When she was 12 Terran years old, Taldai’s family moved from Calindra to Sigma Octus VIII so that her father could pursue employment opportunities there as a pilot. The youngest of three children, she is the first member of her family to enrol in Starfleet and one of only 200 Xindi-Primate accepted into Starfleet in the last five years- something which is of enormous pride to her. She is acutely aware of the effect that her lithe, slender physiology has on other species, something which annoys her at the best of times, although she has been known to use to her advantage on rare occasions. She is fond of dying strands of her hair and presently has a turquoise streak reaching from her forehead back to her shoulders which symbolises her late friend, a Xindi-Aquatic who was killed in a tragic pirating incident several years before. Prior to that she has also sported a white streak as well as pink, red and orange variations.
