Yiggtissi was born on 2363 in the province of Tykis’Kon on Lyaksti’kton. His father was a member of the Saurian Science Academy and his mother was a law enforcement official with the Saurian Security Service. Yiggtissi was the youngest of four children. He showed a compassion for science and medical understanding at a young age. His father pushed him to follow those avenues of study and Yiggtissi excelled.

Yiggtissi joined the Saurian Science Academy under the medical division. While there, he met his mate Innuoasag. They instantly formed a bond which could never be broken. After completion of training, he worked under the study of one of the most accomplished doctor’s in his home province, Doctor Yogish. Yiggtissi would learn more from him than he thought was possible. During this time, Yiggtissi and Innuoasag decided it was time to start a family. After several attempts to become pregnant, they were unsuccessful. Yiggtissi would spend months conducting tests on his young mate, with the help of Dr. Yogish. They finally discovered an unusual gene that had lain dormant in Innuoasag until she began to try and conceive. After weeks of trial and error, they discovered a treatment and Innuoasag was able to conceive only one child. It was unusual for a Saurian to have on just one but they felt that there child was a blessing from Mellitt and Antidis, the first ones.
