Located on a busy corner of the San Francisco district of [[StarBase 118 Ops|Starbase 118's]] promenade, '''The Advocate''' is a four-storey entertainment venue that was primarily designed to cater for gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, androgynous and transgendered individuals. The Advocate was originally opened by an Argelian man named Glenn Runym who had originally come aboard the station as part of a reconstruction crew and spotted a gap in the market. It has since become one of the leading social venues on the station known for the good food, friendly atmosphere and large dancefloor.
Located on a busy corner of the San Francisco district of [[StarBase 118 Ops|Starbase 118's]] promenade, Unity Club is a four-storey entertainment venue, the largest of it's kind aboard Starbase 118- open 24 hours a day.  It is known for it's vibrant nightlife and can easily accommodate over 3,000 people at any one time. It originally opened as 'The Advocate' and catered to LGBTQ+ identifying individuals and was rebranded following a decree from Starbase 118's Civilian Council that stated all establishments must cater to all forms of sexual and gender identities. Additionally, structural damage to the building following Chennel's invasion of the station in 2394 also necessitated a refurbishment to comply with station structural safety codes.

Severely damaged during the Scarlet Brotherhood attacks on the station, the Advocate has recently re-opened after a major refit and under new management.
