When he was assigned to the {{USS|Apollo|A}} in 2392, this was the first chance that Varaan had to have his family accompany him. Family accommodations aboard an [[Odyssey class]] Cruiser are designated to Deck 12 for officers, or Deck 38 for civilians, and have a variable size depending on the number of family members living there. These accommodations typically include multiple bedrooms, living/work area, and a bathroom. Other amenities available include food synthesizer terminals (replicators), sonic showers, standard showers, null-grav sleeping chambers, and personal holographic viewers.<br><br>Varaan's family quarters were Deck 12, room 0425, and consisted of the living/dining/workspace, a bedroom for himself and his wife ([[Varaan/T'lani|T'lani]], a bedroom for their daughter [[Varaan/T'iana|T'iana]], and a bathroom.<br> | |||
