			While en route to Avronis, engineers discovered that their shuttles had been tempered with, something that slowed down the upgrading that those shuttles need in order to transport an away team to the planet's surface. When Ambassador MacLaren discovered this drawback, he allowed the crew to use the 'Robert Bruce' his specially modified shuttle. However, on his way back from checking on his shuttle's specifications, Lt. Whittaker is viciously attacked.
