Both of  them waited for the [[USS Apollo]] to return from its current mission and pick them up (not knowing that it would be destroyed in the course of its mission). Therefore they spend some of their free time together. Later on they lost contact, though.

! style="background:#ffffff;" align="left" | When Dial entered service aboard the [[USS Aegis]], Jalana Laxyn was temporary serving as First Officer. But even during that time she spent much time at sick-bay. After stepping down from that position again and returning to sick-bay, she became the new [[Apollo-A|Apollo]]'s Assistant Chief Medical Officer. Ever since, Dial and her have not just worked together but also met out of duty. Lately Dr. Laxyn has started on Dial's request to teach her at the ship's Academy facilities in the field of medicine.
