-M'Wash reported for duty as an ensign during a crisis aboard the [[Starbase 118]]. As the crisis came into an end, M'Wash witnessed the Tsia's special birth in the starbase's docking bay. As ordered by the [[Rogers,_William|captain Rogers]], M'Wash carried Tsia back to the main sick bay. M'Wash comforted the infant Tsia initally. At the main sick bay, M'Wash kept an eye on Tsia and stood near Tsia.  Realizing that Tsia didn't have any parent due to special birth, M'Wash volunteered to become Tsia's caretaker on stardate 239101.11. Further medical examination indicated that Tsia was very unique child. M'Wash was promoted to Lt. JG on stardate 239101.27 by captain Rogers during a formal promotion ceremony. On Stardate 239102.01, M'Wash was reassigned to [[USS Atlantis]]
