His capability for engineering is undoubtedly high, but his ability to finish a project without getting distracted is a big hurdle. His record is littered with minor infractions, mostly from frustrated senior officers who couldn’t corral his less-than-disciplined nature and his penchant for unapproved body modifications. His record doesn’t seem to bother him that much, though he doesn’t purposefully try to get on his crews bad side. Despite his somewhat tough appearance, and socially domineering attitude, he is perfectly friendly, even overly sociable... though he doesn't come off as too trustworthy.
