When join Starfleet only goal Segolene had was to change her own appearance, now her life changed and she want to be good scientist and successful officer.

Segolene is a child from unusual coupling between Ullian and Vulcan. Her parents met on Vulcan when her father came to learn on some of the teaching techniques at the Vulcan Science Academy. Young couple fell in love and T’klum left her mate to join and couple with Desean.

Segolene finished all her required exams, but being locked in sickbay for almost 2 years kept her from passing practical exams. She was recommended to go to the ship because that way she will have more chance to do them in time for regular graduation with her class. By the written exams alone Segolene is set to be valedictorian for her generation, but being late with fulfilling her requirements it may turn into complete failure.   

Segolene arrived to USS Apollo at the end of the SAR mission, with the transport that took the survivors off the Apollo. She was sent to Science Labs to watch over the extremely boring experiment and seemed like everyone forgot about her. She didn't even managed to meet her Mentor, Lieutenant Tressa as of yet, less get to end any of the requirements for approaching final exams at the Academy.

Soon Segolene found out about the injury Chief sustained and finding out that Vid-Lotilija got transferred to Starbase 118 for further treatment. Losing yet another Mentor, it turned her attempt to finish Starfleet Academy in time in almost futile attempt.  

Moreover, the ship was sent to; first escort USS Mercury to the war zone, then to join USS Victory in a mission to Thracian Alliance Space. Both missions left her behind, since everything was too dangerous for a mere Cadet.  

After the disastrous encounter with Klingons, who acted sneaky and attacked them without commencing an attack, USS Apollo is returning to Starbase 118 for repairs. There Segolene is required to report to Academy Commandant, having nothing to report.
