Her father worked in the credit exchange and her mother worked in childcare. Her brother has gone to one of the coastal townships after marrying into a family living there and working in the fishing industry. Nai has had all the usual ups and downs on a typical upbringing and is quite balanced and happy overall. Growing up on a planet comprised mostly of water has left it's impact, she loves the sea and sea food, diving and playing underwater games. She is uncomfortable in very hot dry places like deserts and barrens and suffers occassionally from vertigo. | ||
Nai is a very sociable person and loves working with others in teams. Having always enjoyed underwater sports she jumped at the chance to try new ones at StarFleet Academy. She joined the octopush and synchronised swimming teams and was naturally talented at both. She later became led the synchronised swimming team to victory in a tournament and sees this as one of her greatest achievements so far. She also has a great love of food, particularly fish and eats big meals, frequently meaning that despite playing sports she has a slightly plump build. | |||
