Lance was conceived during a Vulcan experiment, monitored by the Doctor Recubia. The Vulcans took some DNA from one of their crew and one of Ellena Firestarter, who at that time was a part of their crew, who then became the one who incubated the crossbreed in her womb. Soon after however, the ship where this experiment took place was attacked by a group of ship raiders. Ellena was able to get to an escape pod, but only at the cost of a fellow crewman's life, a Vulcan Soljack. Eventually she went back to her own planet where Lance was eventually born. Soon after he was born, his mother discovered that he aged half as fast as any normal Betazoid, this caused problems later in his life. 12 years later Lance discovered his telepathic abilities, although they weren't as strong as a normal Betazoid, it was sufficient enough. During his childhood Lance learned how to be truthful, however sometimes he was too truthful. He then went to school until he was 20 years of age excelling at all the sciences although weak when it came to sports. Lance then went to follow in his mother's footsteps and went to Starbase Academy where he earned the nickname Mini-Elf because of his appearance that resembled that in Earth fantasy books and his genetic drawbacks. Some activities he did were chess and robotics.

Years later Lance discovered his telepathic abilities, although they were not as effective as a normal Betazoid. During his childhood Lance took after his mother and spoke with brutal honesty. He continued his lower education until he was 20 years of age excelling at all the sciences although weak when it came to sports. Lance then went to follow in his mother's footsteps and went to Starbase Academy where he was mocked due to his appearance and stature. Some activities he did were chess and robotics until he graduated with his engineering degree.  Still believing that his education was inadequate, he eventually pursued and was awarded his medical degree.

==Disabilities==
Although she does indeed act her age, Lance ages half as fast as any normal Betazoid or Vulcan.  Due to her genetic drawbacks, confusion has ensued.

Lance reappeared on Betazed a year after her disappearance.  Confused and scared, she had managed to find her way into the Vulcan embassy.  There, her federation profile was pulled up and she was put under intense counselling.  Living with her mother and taking remedial starfleet courses, the woman remembered all of her training, but was unable to match experiences with people.  People she had known from the past may appear familiar after time, but her memory has not yet returned.  After re-completing her training, the hybrid was assigned to the USS Tiger-A where she holds the position of Chief Science Officer.

==Strengths==
Lance excels at all sciences and tends to be fairly social. He tells the truth always and works hard to perfect himself. He also made major findings in the areas of electronics and some minor ones in biological warfare .
==Weaknesses==
Lance unlike his Vulcan father tends to be too emotional, due to the fact he was raised on his mother's planet. Because of his lack of interest in sports, he is weaker than the average Vulcan. Lance also lacks in the area of creativity and sometimes isn't serious enough during dangerous situations. Also, because he only ages half as fast as a normal Betazoid, he looks like a 15-16 year-old, which causes dissent.
