Computer start personal log entry. Today has been a strange day, well... maybe strange isn't the word, different. Certainly this crew is different from the ones I've been part of so far. This crew seems to be more close, the Commodore the first one, by making us call her by her given name, socializing in parties while on shore leave like another member of the crew. I'm not used to that, however, if that's the style she wants for the ship I'll adapt to it, it may take some time, but it'll come. On another subject, I've started to know part of the crew more closely, specially my engineering partner, the now Lieutenant Jg. Kimberly Stapledon. She's intelligent, full of life and with some interesting taste in holoprograms. From the rest of the senior crew, I've started to know a few of them, like Lt. Commander Herren, who helped me developing some skiing skills, not that I've made much of an improvement, but she seemed happy to help a novice like me and Ba'el,... and she dancese pretty well too. So I expect more interactions in the future on a more social level. Another mention I want to do is Ensign Indrid Yirah, who's one of the few male senior officers I've worked with so far. It's interesting to note that in this ship the ration of females is a lot higher than that of males, something I'm not sure if its just a coincidence in postings or if it's related to some personal requisition by the CO. However, we've been assigned a new FO that is an Andorian male, assigned by Starfleet so we'll see how he adapts to the CO style and the ship itself. I still have to know him, aside from his introduction during the party at Arentis Ballroom, but I'm eager to see the Andorian in that position in the chain of command. End log.

Computer start personal log entry. We've ended our mission on Paioke colony, stablished in Dreve IV, finally the science team were able to find a way to cure the plants that were affected by some sort of chemical compound, brought by the Ferengi traders. We managed to scan the fungi subterranean structure and now it could be used to improve the soil's health and improve the colony's growth by increasing their food supplies. After the mission we're given some R&R and an Argo race was set. In the spirit of knowing this crew better and integrate with them, I've decided to participate and following the crew custom on loose protocol and the captain's own explanation about it, I decided to invite her as part of the team. She refused... I might have overstepped the confidence she spoke about, of course sigh,... one thing is to call her by name, but asking her to join me, a simple lieutenant? I've been overconfident... maybe she'll forget if we don't cross for a few days... Protocols exist for a reason, if someone has to go loose on them, it's her prerrogative, not mine. I could be familiar with the CPOs, ensigns, maybe even Stapledon, but if I want to make a career on Starfleet, I better follow protocols unless absolutely necessary. We might be off duty, but she's still the Commodore, if she wants personal interaction, she'll ask for it. On my side, I'll try to be better so she won't be thinking bad about me.

End log.

Recording personal log, to be sent to my personal log files when available. I've been a few hours on the outpost Hermes making repairs and we've found some prove that there's sabotage. Ensign Zaka and I presented it to Lt. Cmdr. Lida who seemed to discard the idea what was strange for us. Later Ensign Zaka went back to the ship and after talking with Rachel Flores he contacted me to inform me that Lida has been showing strange behaviour contrary to her usual self. Also it seems that there could be imposters on the ship impersonating starfleet officers and we can't ascertain who they were since it seems a mutiny is underway. Since Lida has been alone with captain Va a few times I had reasons to believe they could be imposters, or at least Lida. I'll try to check it out, but in case something happens to me, let this be a hint for anyone investigating that those were my doubts as of this point. We'll see if I can clarify anything about what's going on.
