Oh, God... What the hell is going on with me?
You know that whole comment about "we're on our way home, it's all good"? Yeah. Right, Insert cynical laughter here...
I'm gonna try and lay this all out as well as I can remember, so I apologize if it seems a little disjointed.
Dropped in on the XO. He seemed a bit distracted, probably by the fact that he's still getting used to the new arm. Still, we had a chat, and I hope he knows that he can talk to me whenever.
Anyway, next up, Meeting with the Boss. Senior staff gathering, drinkies and everything, a kind of "well done, we didn't all die" thing. Except the Captain had some kind of seizure. I know I went in to help her. After that, it gets a little... fuzzy.
Did I say anything about what happened with T'Lea a while back? Same thing here, best I can figure, except it was different. Yeah, I know, that doesn't make much sense, but it's true.
I'm still piecing things together here. I was kinda drifting for a while. We got back to the Starbase whilst I was like that, Assanti went off for treatment, and we were given a bit of shore leave.
I nearly turned myself into a sociopath, did I mention that? No? Well, I did. I'm not gonna say how, it might give people ideas. Suffice to say it was bad, and it was a combination of remembering what Tash was like, and the attention of a really cute little Bajoran kid that got me back again.
I'm done talking about that now. I'm done thinking about it. I hope.
