Ensign Vasilissa, or "Vasi", is currently on Medical leave from StarFleet to make sure that work related stress doesn't interfer with her pregnancy. She resides on the USS Ronin with her husband and daughter.
Vasi was previously the Chriopractor aboard the Ronin, and before that, a Medical officer aboard the USS Challenger-A.

After meeting Bailey on Earth when he broke his hand, the two started a relationship. Regardless of the fact that Vasi is older than him, the two got married after a few months. Two years before Bailey applied to StarFleet Academy, Vasi found herself pregnant with a quarter Brekkian Human child.

Vasi's pride and joy. Sarah didn't cry when she was born, and she has the tendency to not talk while there's strangers around - regardless of their intention.
- Miscarriage
Unfortunately, an attempt to have another child ended in heart break as Vasi was too stressed and had low levels of progesterone.

A baby which both Bailey and Vasi want badly, they are taking every precaution to look after it. Vasi believes that it will be born by at least February in 2389.
