History

Meira is the only child of Michael and Abigail Raizel. She was born in Natchez, Mississippi but didn't spend much time there as her family traveled much of her childhood; her father was a highly specialized physician so the family traveled around as he practiced medicine and conducted research in various cities on Earth. Meira is well traveled on Earth from her childhood, but she has not been many places otherwise.

She followed in her father's footsteps and became a physician. However, life on Earth was not what she dreamed about. She chose to join Starfleet because she wanted to find something new and exciting. She is searching for something she thinks is missing in her life. Her goal is to become a great medical officer and to enjoy life.
