Description

Sentient humanoid species known to the Federation, distinguished by a transparent skull which reveals their giant brains, which can be twice the humanoid norm. One native was Captain Boday, a onetime lover of Jadzia Dax. Their grotesque appearance has led them into more solitary pursuits such as philosophy, programming or cargo shipping. Because of their very high intelligence, some Gallamites have found work as scientists or strategists, but their unique physiology makes assimilation into society difficult.
