About Me!
Hello! I'm a newer member based out of the southwest US who's still learning the ropes and settling in. Star Trek has been around in my life since childhood, but it wasn't until adulthood that I got passionately into it after deciding to finally dive in. My favorite things about Star Trek are the optimistic views of human idealism and how you never know exactly what you'll get next. Sometimes incredible and thought-provoking, sometimes meme-worthy and totally out there, there's almost always something to enjoy or be surprised by. It's truly something special, and getting to try and capture some of that vibe with a great community was a big motivator for joining up here.
I'm a big fan of sci-fi in general, from fantastic and weird to painstakingly realistic. Some other notable sci-fi franchises I enjoy are The Expanse, Firefly, Revelation Space, and of course, Star Wars. I also have a gigantic weak spot for particularly cheesy Japanese sci-fi, such as Ultraman and Kamen Rider.
