Description

Tanugans were visibly distinguishable by their up-sweeping eyebrows and two to three ridges on their foreheads, all typically forming a V line down to the brow bone. It was common for all genders to style their hair in stiff up-swept styles. They are a technologically advanced civilization, at one point maintaining an orbiting research station, the Tanuga IV research station, and a facility on Tanuga IV.

The Tanugan security force was the civilization's police force, with a Chief Investigator as one of the known and major positions. Typically in the Tanugan system of justice, the accused were guilty until proven innocent. Witness accounts could be made by individuals who had only heard about an even happening, as well as those who had actually been involved.
