| Murphy (Deceased) - Life-long best friend
[[ thumb|140px|left|Murphy In many ways Murphy saved Finch's life; marred by her depressing life on Earth, bound into looking after her miserable and mentally unsound mother, Murphy was a light at the end of the tunnel. Sharing the experience of Starfleets Tech Service Academy together, they went on to serve together on the USS Bonestell, until they were moved onto different ships. Though they always stayed in touch and often visited each other, their careers entwined again aboard the USS Marigold. A known taunter and lover of mischief, Murphy highly cherished Doz and enjoyed making fun of her workaholic nature. Often preferring her company over anyone elses, the two were quite inseparable and naturally balanced each other out. Though she rarely admits it, he rubbed off on her a great deal; it was Murphy who instilled Doz's need to find nooks and crannies and hidden places in ships to relax with shipmates; that and her proclivity for drinking her tea with milk and sugar, despite having always taken it black before that. His life came to an end on-board the Marigold in an event that frankly ripped Doz's world apart, and is the sole reason she accepted an offer to commission, desperate for a distraction she swore she would never pursue. |

| Captain Koth - Officer Candidate School Sponsor
Crotchety, irritable, and yet a brilliant and fair leader, Captain Koth is the Commanding Officer of the USS Marigold who tends to take a backseat approach to managing his crew, preferring to leave Gepe Grasa to it. Sometimes thought of as aloof and distant, Finch knows different; originally a science officer, Koth admits his lack of engineering knowledge, and often asked Finch for her professional opinion on matters - even after first getting Zeeza's. In the end, it was Koth who sponsored her to attend the Officer Candidate School, urging her to commission to the higher ranks. |
| Lieutenant Zeeza - Chief Engineer of the USS Marigold
Airy, analytical, smart, and yet charming, Zeeza is the Denobulan Chief Engineer of the USS Marigold, who shared a close professional relationship with Finch who at the time was the ship's only Master Chief Petty Officer. A skilled shields specialist, she along with Finch's damage control skills, managed to mitigate the impact of a massive solar flare on the ship's shields and systems, cutting repairs down from a month to only a week. |
| Commander Gepe Grasa - First Officer of the USS Marigold
File:GRASA.png Gepe Grasa Ruthless, egotistical, and a staunch disciplinarian, Commander Gepe Grasa is the First Officer of the USS Marigold who despite her sociopathic tendency to bully her own crew, held a certain degree of interest in Finch's skill. Only a certain degree, mind you. As an ex Security and Tactical officer, Grasa personally and deliberately selected a weak successor, so that she could assert her influence in missions. Her go to style of leadership is aggression, something that Koth has always ignored. A collector of trophies, and highly competitive, it's believed on the lower decks that she's gunning for Koth's position, and that if he were to ever mysteriously disappear, she's likely got something to do with it. |
| Lieutenant Gnaxac - Engineer on the USS Gorkon
One of the first engineers Finch met onboard the USS Gorkon. She is fond of his stuttering disposition, and determined spirit. She considers him a standout Ferengi, and trusts his professional opinion, as someone who knows the ship more intimately than she does. |
