New page: Creation and Upkeep of Ship Histories
New Page
ILI
I can't edit the ILI list... Aenar are missing from the list, I've made a basic page for them
Thanks, I'll bear that in mind, although all I personaly have borrowed from Memory Alpha so far is the Aenar picture. - Jay 14:48, 13 Aug 2005 (CDT)
I did notice that and corrected as quickly as humanely possible - Jay 14:50, 13 Aug 2005 (CDT)
User Page
Sorry about that - will be keeping Pietmaximoff then. It didn't strike me until after I made the new UserName that I didn't really need it anyway. --Lt Pietro Maximoff 07:16, 16 Aug 2005 (CDT)
Training Area
Admiral, the tutorials section and the mission section should be separate, don't you think? Could we have a mission section too? (Varaan)
Parker and I had written up two new missions, long ago when we were talking about "spring cleaning" the missions area. We each had one run through and then the entire project got shelved. (Varaan)
Guide to USS Wallace
I had thought about that, but we probably need to get the DS17 guide in a respectable condition first... - Jay 17:14, 21 Aug 2005 (CDT)
Would you mind if I changed the pic, that's probably my least favourite of all the images on ST:Australia... - Jay 10:20, 9 February 2006 (CST)
- How does that look? I actually have the full version of this pic as my background on my PC :) - Jay 04:48, 11 February 2006 (CST)
I had to upload the image myself as it hadn't been done yet. The background is white, not transparent and the image is a jpg as I got a very blocky pic as a gif. - Jay 05:38, 14 February 2006 (CST)
Articles for deletion
I've added the delete template to 3 pages, 2 of them are part of my characters pages as I'm restructuring it and the other is one of the pages which I moved yesterday which you missed when you deleted the rest of the old Challenger NPC pages. Could you delete them please as I haven't got the capability to do it myself. Thanks - Jay 17:29, 18 February 2006 (CST)
Category:Articles to be Deleted; Now contains 2 articles which were wrongly named and 2 articles relating to my character which I've rewritten as subpages to my userpage and wish to move into the place of the old article. I'll move my sub-pages accross but I need the current pages deleted before I can do so. Could you please do this for me. Thanks - Jay 09:18, 13 March 2006 (CST)
:) Like the new link on your user page. Thanks for that. - Jay 02:59, 14 March 2006 (CST)
Saber Class
I was able to find some schematics from Daystrom that fit the mold. What do you think of the Arrow's motto?
Sweet! I didn't think that there was a deck layout for the starbase!

Intra-page linking
Admiral, I know it's possible to link to an outside web page, and it's possible to link to an internal wiki page, AND it's possible to link to an item/article within a wiki page by using the page name, a "#" and the article name. BUT, is it possible to link to a separate item on the same page (like further down the page, or to eliminate "see above" type stuff)? Varaan 23:06, 1 July 2006 (CDT)
- Okay. Say you've got a long page and in a paragraph you're writing you like to reference something that you're going to cover in it's own entry later on in the same page. If it was on another page you could link to it using [[Page Name#Article Name]]. But can you do it if the stuff you'd like to link to is on the SAME page as where you'd like to place the link? -Varaan 23:11, 1 July 2006 (CDT)
- Sure, when I tried it the stupid thing didn't work. Then you go and do it and it works fine. Make me feel inferior why dontcha! :) -Varaan 23:14, 1 July 2006 (CDT)
Re:Vulcans on Memory-Alpha
My only concern was that it would be visible enough for people to not get confused as to where to go for canon info. If it's small and off to the side...they might miss it. Though I guess the links in the text could help too. Some of those links (though they all say "Memory Alpha") actually link to different pages on MA depending on the topic my page is covering, though. Let's see what I can do. -Varaan 09:45, 2 July 2006 (CDT)
