Background

Gabrielle is the youngest of six children born to a human accountant and an Argellian entertainer. Jacque had come to Argellia II to work with the planetary accounting firms to monitor the income they made as the second most popular tourist world. He met Arala when she came to go over some accounting discrepancies. Ultimately they fell in love, but what the conservative Jacque had not counted on was that in marrying Arala, he was marrying her very large extended family. As an only child he was unprepared for the boisterous clan of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins who had a limited understanding of privacy or personal space.

They produced six children, but it was the youngest, Gabrielle who was most like her father. Unlike her older siblings, she had a more serious manner and as she grew older she joined her father in managing accounting records. This serious manner along with a touch of wanderlust, Jacque encouraged his daughter to join starfleet.

Gabrielle’s time on earth was an eye opener. As serious as her family thought she was, compared to her fellow cadets she was a slightly crazed party animal who still managed to get good grades and complete all the requirements to graduate.

Personality

Gabrielle believes in the Argellian mantra of peace and pleasure. But she is realistic enough to know that it is something that is not shared by all species. Unlike the majority of her family she recieves a lot of pleasure from organizing things to allow other to focus on thier jobs. The hardest thing she has to deal with is seeing someone unhappy and not doing anything about it. She is quick to make friends and is rarely judgemental. She tends express herself in an uninhibited manner. Her blunt honesty will likely confuse and frighten the more conservative people she runs into.
