By implication, an oxygen-breathing species otherwise unspecified but apparently of Alpha or Beta quadrant origin. Curzon or a previous Dax host knew the species, since Jadzia talked of a hydrogen-breathing Lothra who mated with an Oxygene for 57 years. They could only spend 40 minute a day together without their breathing apparatus.
