Chronological History
Alex and his younger brother Michael were born into a very happy family. Alex's parents are the owners of Blair Technologies, a civilian aerospace company that provides ships for commercial shipping. Growing up with gifted engineers rubbed off on Alex who is now a talented engineer. When Alex turned eighteen, he was pressured by his father to get into the family business with hopes one day to take it over. Alex wanted nothing to do with the family business so he joined the Starfleet Marines as an act of rebellion. After serving in the Marines for two years, Alex knew his heart wasn't in it so he took the advice of his commanding officer and applied to Starfleet Academy. At the academy Alex enrolled in the engineering program and majored in Advanced Warp Theories. He graduated in the top twenty percent of his class.
