*[[Flood, Joe|Joe Flood]]. Formerly a pilot and an independent salesman. He didn't sell to the highest bidder; he chose his clients according to his own strict and defined moral code. Typically he dealt in odd commodities - Bzzit Khaht seaweeds, Australian shirazes, Klingon targlings, and the like. His ship, the ''Ineffable'', was purchased by the Starfleet Corps of Engineers when he became their civilian liaison.
