Lieutenant Shimisi, this log records that we've been assigned to help a civilian colony with some environmental problems they're having. Apparently some of their plants are being reported to die due some unknown problem, so we've set a complete away team to determine the cause. In my case, I'll check for any technological problem that might lead to the cause, along other engineering officers, Stapledon among them. This will be the second official mission we'll work together and I expect a better understanding and a better work flow between us. We've ended the mission and finally the science and medical teams managed to find the cause of the illness of the plants and it has to do with some fungus net that went below the colony, underground that was acting like some sort of circulatory system. Thanks to some scan modifications we managed to map the entire network and they managed to distribute a cure. The colony seems to be safe and it seems it'll need a change in the leadership, but that's something we can't get involved. With the problem solved and with the crashed shuttle found and with plans for it to be repaired for sublight operations in the near future, the colony prospects are good. End log. =/\= | ||
