The '''USS Chin'toka''' is an {{c|Akira}} starship under the command of Commander [[Serala]]. In service for over two decades, Starfleet decided to update the Akira-class to better reflect the requirements of the service. The upgrades made to the class (dubbed the 2397 variant) aimed to make the class a multi-mission capable vessel.
