Gabe was one of the first people that Savel interacted with on the ship. They were introduced to each other during an away mission on the Da'al homeworld but didn't get to actually meet until the mission had concluded. Whenever they did get to meet, Gabe briefly introduced Savel to the human game of basketball. During Gabe's time on the ship, he served as a mentor for Savel while he tried to settle in and learn the ropes as a Starfleet security officer. The lessons he learned during his time under Gabe's leadership are still being applied to Savel's current tasks and duties today.

Vitor is one of the many crew members that Savel has taken some time to get to know him. His first introduction was on the first day Savel came onto the ship; Sil was getting treatment in Sickbay following a violent incident with the ''Artemis''' then First Officer, where Sil was stabbed. It took a while before the two spent any decent time together, and it came in the form of a martial arts sparring session in the ''Artemis'' gym. Their bout ended in a draw, but the two of them started to create a friendship.

Talos was one of the first officers that Savel met when he joined the ''Artemis'' in 2400. At the time, Talos was a Lieutenant and Head of Intel aboard the ''Artemis'' and they only briefly worked together on an away mission to recover some crew and a shuttle from the surface of the Da'al homeworld. Talos would later be one of the other senior officers on the ''Artemis'' that Savel had a sparring match with at the on-board gymnasium. Still, the two really only got to work and know each other during an encounter with CloQ on Betazed. Savel and Talos were dropped into the middle of a Dominion occupation of Betazed around 2376 with a couple of other officers from the ''Artemis''. During the mission, Savel would meet Talos' mother, Leera, as they worked with a Betazed Resistance Cell to attempt to weaken the Dominion forces and escape from CloQ's game.

Hallia recruited Savel to help her figure out how their Shint-verse counterparts could invade the ''Artemis'' and take over various systems. The two worked for hours in the Computer Core to solve the mystery and created a potential tool for the ''Artemis'' should they ever need similar control over another enemy vessel. Savel is looking forward to the next chance to work together with her.

Savel has spent very little time with the Edo Science Officer since he joined the ship, outside of a camping trip that went south during his first shore leave. Jovenan led a group of ensigns down to the Da'al home world on a secret mission, planned with then-Lt. Talos Dakora, under the guise of a simple recreational camping expedition. During the trip, they were ambushed by a couple of Da'al rebels but were luckily recovered shortly after the attack. While he has not served closely with Jovenan since that time, he has been privy to witnessing her skill and aptitude as a science officer and he hopes for a chance to work more closely together soon.

Savel administrated Jaseb's phaser recertification training, observing his tactics as less-than-orthodox than some of the other officers he'd observed. Savel then got to see those tactics applied in actual combat against Jem'Hadar soldiers while they were assisting a Betazed Resistance Cell during an alternative timeline created by CloQ.

Savel first met Gila during a scheduled medical check-up in Sickbay. It was his first time in Sickbay following the incident that wounded Hiro. Savel found Gila to be professional, and she offered valuable insight into his symptoms and concerns. They have yet to really speak outside of a doctor/patient setting, but he is curious about their next meeting with each other.

Savel finds Gnai to be the most fascinating being he's encountered on the ''Artemis'' crew. His first time being introduced to Gnai was when both were incarcerated in a Betazoid Prison for alleged treason against the Dominion (another of CloQ's games). So far, Savel believes Gnai will be a valuable member of the team while also being a curious companion.

Genkos was the First Officer on the ''Artemis'' whenever Savel first arrived on board. He first saw Genkos restrained in Sickbay after he stabbed Vitor while under the influence of a mind-altering compound, which was a strange first impression. Genkos soon countered this first impression by leading a rescue mission to save Savel and a group of other ''Artemis'' Ensigns that were ambushed by rebels on the Da'al Homeworld. Savel is also grateful that Genkos was the surgeon that operated on Hiro following his injuries, saving the life of his friend. The Vulcan looks forward to his continued service with the good doctor.

Salkath is a welcome additional source of logic to join the ''Artemis''. The two have started to become acquainted while being housed in a Betazoid Prison along with the Captain and Ensign Gnai. Savel finds Salkath's presence more than acceptable and is glad to have another Vulcan among the ship's senior staff.
