Was born on planet Cait a year after her father had finally returned from the Dominion war that was plaguing both the Alpha and the Gamma Quadrants of space. In C'iris younger years she would always just be absolutely enamored in the stories that were told to her by both her father and her grandfather about their exploits across space and grew extremely interested in what was out there as the world that she had only known at the time was planet Cait and nothing else. If she wasn't studying super hard in school then she was out with both her small group of friends and her younger sister out in the vast and beautiful jungles on Cait and climbed lots of trees and swung from any vine that she could get her hands on as a child much to the dismay of her mother and much to the pleasure and laughter of her father, although her grandfather was in his twilight years she would still hang around with him and just talk all day and all through the nights on planet Cait, occasionally teaching her the ins and outs of engineering and sparring with C'iri and teaching her the best take down moves in the art of both normal Martial Arts and Klingon Judo. When she found out that she was officially going to Starfleet Academy her grandfather would be the first to know over anybody else in her family since they had a very tight knit relationship with each other. And due to her being so soft spoken at the time and her old friend group that she had slowly dissipating due to her other friends just being more interested and invested into their own respective tribes to even be invested in C'iris long talks about Starfleet as a whole he was her only true friend alongside her sister who knew all too well about how in love she was with the concept of getting within the ranks. However on the inside she was super nervous about going since she would be leaving everything that she knew on Cait to go to her grandfathers planet that she had never had the opportunity to ever visit due to both of her parents being so busy within Starfleet. Especially her father since he was so caught up in his own career within Starfleet with her father eventually being promoted into Admiralty after many years of loyal service, being left with her grandparents as a result, for most of her younger years. Shockingly, this didn't really effect her much as she understood why her father had to be away for so long and her mother would always make the time to visit C'iri along with her sister M'Triss who would always ensure the two of them that their father truly did yearn to see them, this however didn't really work on her sister and she would grow some contempt for their father as she had seen this as him choosing his career over his family just to be out there to bark orders at lower ranks and to galivant across space. Which really strained her relationship with her sister causing a huge argument to ensue between them right after her graduation which deeply hurt her. C'iri had a pretty rough start during her first year at the Academy not really speaking much to her other fellow Cadets which proved to be both a benefit and a massive negative as she was really on top of the work that was given to her but was very isolated from other people and would just spend most of her down time just reading at her dorm and exercising alone. Luckily things ultimately ended up really looking up for C'iri during her second year at the Academy as she would join the Academy track team in early 2398 and would slowly but surely begin to come out of her shell that year, eventually winning second place that year at a track competition as well. It wasn't first place but it was still a thrill for her to have competed. As a result she slowly began to build a small little friend group from the people that she had met and had also developed a really great friendship with a another Caitian named S'Rall which eventually developed into a more romantic relationship during their last remaining years that they spent as Cadets.
