With the return of his family to Bajor his parents were able to resume their careers in their desired field. This was where Corum Hak developed his interests in concepts surrounding biology, medicine and even the study of new cultures, which had been in part aided by living in the cultural melting pots of [[MA:New Berlin|New Berlin]].
