For instance, the Defiant class USS Independence-B does NOT have one). As such, Amity Outpost sees both quantum slipstream cargo ships and passenger liners. Even with the quantum slipstream drive, it still takes about a month to get from the core worlds of the Federation to Amity Outpost, which is the most remote Federation posting. | |||
