Sarah Talens: Difference between revisions

Talens is infamous for her moody nature, acerbic wit and loud, foul mouth, which has seen her get into trouble on more than a few occasions. She is a close friend to Lt [[Raine Vedra]] (whom she often fondly refers to as Big Guy and Shrek), though she would rather be flogged in public than ever admit to this. She also once had a huge crush on LtCmdr [[Valdivia, John|John Valdivia]], whose brilliant mind she has often described as a big turn-on.

When Sarah was 16 years old, she was drugged and gang-raped on her prom night. No one knows of this, not her family, not even Starfleet for she did not report the incident out of shame. Two months following the incident, Sarah rigs the car carrying the perpetrators to explode, killing them all. This too, she has kept a secret from everyone, especially from Starfleet.

On stardate 239007.26, following an accident in the lab, her right leg was crushed by falling heavy equipment and had to be amputated below the knee to keep her from hemorrhaging to death. She refused an artificial limb transplant and instead, had a wooden (natural maple, of course) peg replace her missing leg.
