+At age five, Bey showed early signs of a genetic disorder called Quattuor Nonvera Cerebri, more commonly known as Placca's Syndrome. Placca's Syndrome is an incredibly rare genetic condition that can occur in the offspring of human and Argelians, particularly if one or both of the parents has psychic abilities. Individuals with Placca's Syndrome are nearly impossible to "read," either telepathically or empathically, and are often mathematical savants. They are also more prone to mild forms of social anxiety. as well as the onset of dementia in the latter stages of life.
+While at the Academy, Captain Xyrana Parta, a member of the Starfleet Medical Corps, developed a synthetic protein protocol to treat the social anxiety aspect of Placca's Syndrome, as well as put off or eliminate the onset of dementia during the latter states of Bey's life.
+There is a standing order attached to Bey's medical file that the protocol be administer to Bey once every six months. No adjustments are to be made to the protocol without first consulting with Captain Parta. Bey has reported drowsiness and a particularly deep sleep on the night after receiving the protocol, but no other side effects.
