Kaansi was born to mother Shegh Loxir on Stardate 236102.19 on Ornara. By the time he was born, his parents had divorced because of his mother's addiction to Felicium. When he arrived in the world, he suffered from the same addiction and had to endure the withdraw symptoms as a baby. His mother died shortly after his birth from the same symptoms. Kaansi has many facets to his personality. It wouldn't be wrong to say that he feels a multitude of emotions within. While he is great with romance, he is not-so-great when it comes to punctuality and remembering the dates! Because he is mostly preoccupied with the spiritual and intellectual realms around, it is natural for him to be forgetful in matters of reality. While being emotional and sensitive is invariably a positive trait, too much of it causes him problems. Because he is so emotionally driven, he can be easily hurt and offended by those who fail to see things from where he is standing. He stands up for what he truly and deeply believes in and can be very stubborn, refusing the idea of letting go of a cause that he truly lives by. He is also constantly fighting agains a natural tendency to become quite indecisive and wobbly in pursuing a goal. He hates direct talks, especially when it comes to face-to-face confrontations. Because he is highly intuitive and knows what the war of words can do, not only to the relationship, but also to his soul, he prefers to not get involved in a conflicting situation at all―because in the end, he is the one who gets hurt the most. He is not very good at handling the practical details of life. He does not understand numbers, calculations, strategic investment planning, etc. He also finds it difficult to keep up around practical mindsets.
