Brandon was born to Jeff and Ashley Craig in Alaska on stardate 236703.21. Brandon is the youngest child of the Craig's with only one other sibling Tiffany Craig. Brandon lead a simple and fun filled childhood with no illness or complications. Brandon showed and remarkable gift for medical and scientific understanding at a young age. Brandon had compassion for anyone who was sick or in need and worked in the hospitals along side his father who was already a doctor and at the age of 12 was convinced by one is his instructors in school that Starfleet is where he needed to be. Brandon work very hard in and out of school and continued to follow his dad. At age 16, his sister developed a case of Ammonx virus of which caused her to almost die, but Brandon refused to leave her side and worked in the labs to help isolate and contain the disease's progression and help her recovery. At age 21, Brandon enlisted into Starfleet Academy and spent the next four years training for his future in the fleet. Brandon is now 25 and aboard Starbase 118.

Dr. Ashley Craig a microbiologist was very protective of her children, Tiffany and Brandon. Hoping to guide them into research work on Earth, the news of both of her children joining Starfleet was devastating for awhile.
