The MORNINGSTAR is the first of the [[Ronin Class]] to be commissioned into Starfleet. The vessel was conceived and constructed at [[ma:Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards|Utopia Planitia]], Mars in early 2382. The name is as universal as the vessel. Meaning both the rising sun to start a new day, just as the concept was to start Starfleet's reemergence into exploration.
