She is built to survive without breathing gear in most land based environments, Radioactive environments is not one of them. She has the ability to breath underwater and in most liquid environments without abn EVA suit or a breather. Part of her genetic engineering has gifted her with gills on her back, they are below the shoulder blades and tap directly into her lungs, she has basically an amphibian ability and is immune to most known ''human diseases''' but is like any other species she can fall ill from sone alien infections. But like most sentient beings she can be killed by all known means that any being can be killed by. She also bleeds red where the Trelan used to bleed blue/green blood. She has one disadvantage and that is when she has her Visor or glasses on she sees in black and white with a red tint due to the eyewear. As she is essentially colour blind with the eyewear on she cannot take up a technical position like in engineering or Demolitions, she is Sniper/Adv Recon for a reason. | |||
Donovan is prone to the majority of standard ailments, that humans or any other species may suffer from, she can grow old, get sick and die and she can bleed. She was bred for combat and a short life, hence she can live till she is 120 tops, she was not built for longevity, the 120 years would be maximum, while humans have been known to live past that. Her DNA does have one flaw and that is if her "species" survives combat and they reach 100 then their DNA breaks down and those who survive that long become infermed with Osteoporosis (Brittle Bone) and there is no cure for this, not much more is known about her species as her creators are now extinct, what information is available comes from recordings she brought with her from what was found attached to her birthing chamber. | |||
