Aurora is a friendly and optimistic person. She carries herself with confidence, but doesn't talk about herself much.

Her personal quarters are well kept except for the desk that is usually littered with books and maps. A small bookshelf sits calmly above the desk holding language books, pagan texts, tactical maps, psychology books,sociology books, tactical hand books, and a red and gold diary held closed with a red bow.

Her favorite room is her quarters; because this is where she can be alone to reflect in peace.

Jazmine Amethyst James

Irina Pavlova: AJ met Irina as soon as she was transferred back to the Embassy from the Atlantis. For reasons unknown their brief meeting created sparks and those sparks have led to a developing relationship between the two women. Irina is so far the only person, man or woman whom AJ has even considered loving.

Aurora was born in San Francisco, CA, USA on Earth and raised in New York City, NY, USA on Earth to a wealthy family; she is the only daughter of deceased Starfleet Captain Elena Rose James and wealthy casino owner, Todd Mark James. Her mother died giving birth to her, and her father sent her to only the best private schools in the Upper East Side of New York City. She showed great promise in linguistics as a kid and graduated high school at the top of her class as Valedictorian a year early, speaking eight distinct native Earth languages fluently. In addition to her love of languages she was quite the sponge when it came to absorbing new information. She attended New York University with a double major in Psychology and Sociology gaining both her B.S degrees. She then went on to grad school program that resulted in her gaining both a P.h.D. and an M.D. It was revealed during her freshman year Psychology class that she had a photographic memory, capable of allowing her to fly right through any book, test, and assignment she was ever given and allowed her to graduate and be at the top of her class as Valedictorian. After her stunning graduation speech and her small family reunion with her father, she was hit hard by the reality of the fact that her father was an unhappy and dying man as he was just diagnosed with lung cancer and he had every intention to kill himself after selling everything and leaving her with his vast fortune. Despite this, she left for Starfleet command as planned with her father’s blessing.

After several months with Jazmine, Aurora managed to forge a successful relationship with her daughter and left Jazmine with her adoptive parents after making a vow to keep in touch. In that several months, Aurora has also undergone extreme therapy and has come to terms with both giving her daughter up for adoption and the loss of her father. However she will need a lot more therapy to come to terms with the torture she has endured. With that all said and done,  Aurora’s therapist declared her fit to resume duty should she feel like going back and Aurora caught the next shuttle headed back to Starbase 118 to answer for the consequences of her sudden departure with hopes of salvaging what is left of her career. With a new assignment in hand, Aurora headed off to DS26 to meet up with her new ship, the USS-Atlantis with hopes of making new friends and not making the same mistake twice.
