Gordarius (Jerry) Reid came to earth with his family at age 7 year, where he became infected with "varicella"(chicken pox),  Within a week later, he then became infected with "rubella"(German measles). Reid's parents, to save his life, whisked him backed to Shershaval, where he was "mysteriously" cured. Later, at age 9, his puberty years, he started secerting the male hormone, and noticed all the young teenage earthen girls he encountered were beginning to act erotically around him. He often got into many fights because of it. He often came home bloodied, but tough, and victorious. Finally, his mother revealed he was half Shersheval, and would need to take injections "Veratropine", and he had also been cured by being "genically engineered", like his mother to be resilient to diseases.  At age 10 years he moved with his family into the mountainous region of Mt. Rainier, in Washington. He learned weaponry taught by his father, and together they began to hunt for food. When his father was away, due to military service, Reid helped to feed the family, by hunting.  His father taught him the "one shot, one kill" principle during these hunts. He also was taught wilderness, and mountainous "survival skills". Leaving home at 16, Reid enlisted in the SFMC at El Toro Marine Base, San Diego, California. Where went through rigorous training for duo MOS, as sniper in recon, and a combat medic. Became instructor for both, finished high school & college while in Noncom Enlisted Academy. Eventually, discovered by Starfleet as son to Brig. Gen. put through OCS, and at age 22, Jerry entered Medical school, graduating at age 26, went on to complete internship, & residency. Then applied to Starfleet Academy, at the coaxing of Admiral T'ver, friend of Brig. Gen. Reid (deceased)took up a mentor position with Jerry, and made the way through red tape for Jerry to attend Starfleet Academy. While in emergency medicine Jerry developed a care and love for others in his care leading him through medical school, and eventually Surgery. At the Starfleet Medical Academy, Jerry enrolled in both Medicine, and Aerospace as dbl. Major, becoming an aviation flight Surgeon. His one year Cadet Cruise aboard the USS Entropy, as Aerospace Surgeon to Squadron Fighter Wing MABS 46, and began his practice also, in Sickbay. Like most Active Ensigns, he also attending command school, through correspondence program offered to active officers on duty with deep space exploration, via comm links to the USS Constitution 9012-B. When in Space Dock had to attend a comptetent Command school, for lessons not learned in correspondence courses, but only taught at the command school.
