Jason Reed was born in the city of New Orleans, on the human homeworld of Earth, though he has rarely been back to the place of his birth in his 23 years of life. His parents were both Starfleet career officers, and Jason spent most of his youth on one starship or another. It was only natural that Jason apply to Starfleet Academy early in 2383, as soon as he was old enough to qualify. His mother, Nicole, always made sure that he was educated in the arts and cultures of many civilizations, but his father insisted that he concentrate on more practical pursuits. Perhaps that is why Jason developed a knack for assessing stressful situations with a clear mind, and why he has excelled in the more conflict oriented areas of his Academy training... namely Tactical and Security. Only time can tell for sure, but it is likely that Jason will follow in his parents footsteps to become a long standing member of Starfleet. | |||
